Welcome to Penn Wood Elementary School!

As I enter my 5th year as principal, I am honored and proud to continue serving the Penn Wood community. Our school is dedicated to fostering a caring and collaborative environment where every student is supported academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Penn Wood Elementary, we have established systems that ensure every student’s needs are met. We are proud to be an official PBIS School (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports), where we prioritize positive behavior and create a school culture that helps all students thrive.

We use data-driven strategies to create individualized student learning profiles, which guide our approach to each student's growth through a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). Additionally, our teachers actively participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), where they collaborate to assess and enhance students' learning, growth, and enrichment. 

Together, we strive to create a learning environment where every student can reach their full potential. I look forward to another wonderful year with our incredible Penn Wood community.
