The guidance counselor is on staff to support students throughout the school year. The counselor is available to assist the teacher in helping students develop the social and emotional skills appropriate for his/her level of maturity.

During the school year students are observed during class time. In this role, the counselor serves as a coordinator in helping the teachers follow the students' progress year-to-year throughout elementary school. Guidance services are available to anyone involved and concerned with a child's development.
