Region 1, term expires December 2027

Katy was born and raised in the West Chester area. Growing up in Pocopson Township, she attended the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District and graduated from Unionville High School in 2017. Katy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in environmental management, with minors in African-American studies, communications, and soil and water sciences. She is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree from Temple University, with a concentration in macro practice. Katy formerly worked as a policy staff writer for Ballotpedia, coined the "digital encyclopedia of American politics and elections". During her tenure as a staff writer, she wrote numerous articles about criminal justice reform, public education policy, and environmental social governance. Katy currently works for an organization that specializes in outreach for government social service programs.

Katy is passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments for all students, deconstructing systemic barriers to academic success, and advocating for greater mental health resources. She hopes that being the first school board member from Gen-Z will provide a different perspective that'll help to advance the district's objectives.

Following her graduation from the University of Florida, Katy and her partner moved into the West Chester borough where they are currently raising their young daughter. In her free time, Katy enjoys being outdoors, solving crossword puzzles, and doing CrossFit.

Katy was elected in November 2023 to serve in Region 1 for a four-year term. She serves on the Education and Pupil Services Committees.
