Dr. Karen Herrmann

Karen holds a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education from Immaculata College, an M.A. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Immaculata College and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership and Administration from Immaculata University.
She graduated from B. Reed Henderson High School and started her teaching career in the WCASD right after college. Now she is retired from the WCASD. Her husband, Henry is also retired from the WCASD. She was a teacher and he was an administrator.
Karen and Henry have resided in West Whiteland Township for 36 years. Recently, they adopted 2 dogs who enjoy their resident cat.
As a teacher, Karen believed that she made a difference in students’ lives and it is her hope that she can continue to make a difference in students’ lives as a school board director. “I want to work together with the other school board members as a team to continue to have a school district that represents all the constituents well in a fiscally responsible way so that all students receive an excellent education.”
Karen Herrmann was re-elected to the School Board in November 2019 for a second four-year term; chairs the Personnel Committee and serves on the Property and Finance Committee.
