District Recognized with Five PenSPRA Awards

The West Chester Area School District (WCASD) is proud to share that it has been honored with five 2024 Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association (PenSPRA) Awards for outstanding work in school communications. The district received two Awards of Excellence, an Award of Merit, and two Honorable Mentions in the categories of Infographic, Photography, and Video.
Each year, PenSPRA’s Excellence in Education Communications Contest recognizes outstanding achievements in school public relations across Pennsylvania. With over 200 entries submitted, WCASD’s work stood out among the best, showcasing the district’s commitment to effectively engaging with staff, students, families, and the broader community.
Molly Schwemler, Manager of District Communications, expressed pride in the recognition, “Our communications team works tirelessly to share the incredible stories of our students, staff, and schools. These awards are a testament to the passion and dedication that goes into ensuring our community stays informed, engaged, and connected.”
