Non-Participation Guidance for Parents

PSSA/Keystone/PASA

Please be aware that the Pennsylvania Department of Education does not recognize any excuse for non-participation in State Assessments and that any non-participation can have a negative impact on our district and school accountability data.   If you don't wish for your students to participate in any of the State Assessments (PSSA/Keystone/PASA), please reach out to your building’s assessment coordinator to discuss the exemption options outlined by state law and board policy.
