Advanced Placement Testing

The Advanced Placement (AP) program offers high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses and exams. By succeeding in AP courses and exams, students can earn college credit and demonstrate their readiness for higher education.

AP Exam Registration

Beginning in the 25-26 school year, all AP Exam registration will be completed through the PowerSchool Parent Portal and PaySchools. Registration opens on Monday, September 8, and closes on Friday October 3, 2025.   

After registering through PowerSchool, exam fees will be posted in PaySchools within  one week. All payments must be submitted no later than October 24, 2025, to finalize registration.

Fee Waivers & Financial Support

Free or Reduced Lunch Eligibility: Fees will be waived automatically but families must complete registration in PowerSchool and follow the PaySchools process to trigger the waiver

Financial Hardship: Families may request a fee reduction or payment plan by completing the AP Exam Financial Support Request Form and submitting it to Jim Ronayne, the Supervisor of Assessment & Accountability.
