Communications Department

The Communications Department is dedicated to providing our community with quality, accurate, and timely information every day.

Our Communications Office supports the district through:

• Community Outreach: Proactively sharing updates about WCASD’s schools, programs, students, staff, and events with the community, media, and stakeholders.

• Media Relations: Managing all media inquiries, issuing press releases, and coordinating publicity and advertising.
• Digital Platforms: Overseeing WCASD’s website and managing our social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. 
• Publications and Design: Creating and publishing brochures, flyers, the school activities calendar, and course guides.
• Photography and Event Support: Providing photography for key events and assisting with special event planning and coordination.

Planning an event, activity, or lesson you're excited about? We'd love to help share the awesome things happening in WCASD! Please submit a Publicity Request Form, and someone from the communications team will follow up with you! Please note, this form is for WCASD staff.
