Back to School Information
Welcome to the Back-to-School Information page! Listed below you will find all the information needed for the new school year. Please review these documents and links carefully.
The West Chester Area School District (WCASD) is using the PowerSchool Parent Portal for our Back-to-School Forms to collect and verify student information for the new school year. This system replaces most paper forms and allows parents to review and update demographic, emergency, and medical information, sign permission forms, and confirm receipt of informational materials.
Important tips:
-
Do not use Internet Explorer to access the portal.
-
View a tutorial on how to navigate the Parent Portal to complete the Back to School Forms.
-
Parents must log in using their own Parent Portal account, not their child’s. Families new to the WCASD will need an access code from the school to create an account.
-
Visit https://ps.wcasd.net/public to log in or create an account.
-
Review and update information for each child carefully, especially emergency contacts.
-
Required items are marked with an asterisk (*).
-
The update is not complete until all forms are submitted.
-
Help is available by emailing parentportal@wcasd.net.
Please complete the Back to School Forms before Friday, August 21.
