2021 Summer School - Registration to begin March 22

We are excited to offer 5 ways for students to keep riding the educational wave during the summer.
Registration for ALL Programs begins on March 22 at 6 p.m.Registration closes on Monday, April 12 at 6:00 p.m.
Parents are notified of student schedules on Friday, April 30 at 6:00 p.m.
Summer Academy will offer small-group interventions for students entering grades 1-5 in Reading, Writing, and Math.
- The Summer Academy runs Monday - Thursday, June 28 through July 30, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Transportation will be provided by the district if needed
- Students will keep their iPad over the summer
- Class sizes will be limited to 15. We will follow CDC guidelines, and staff and students must wear masks and practice social distancing

This site is for English Learners from all schools attending Jump Start.
Register Now for Summer AcademyEnglish Learners will be at Hillsdale Elementary: Mondays - Thursdays, June 28 through July 30 from 8:30 to 11:30. Jason Thompson is the site administrator for the Jump Start Program.

Registration Completed by Teachers
Small-Group Tutoring will be tailored to the needs of students entering grades 1-5 in Reading/Writing and Math. Contact Jason Benfield if you have additional questions.
- Tutoring sessions will be 45 minutes, Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 22 - August 12
- In-person sessions will be held in the afternoon at East Goshen Elementary. Parents will provide transportation and are welcome to wait in the school parking lot during the tutoring session. We will follow CDC guidelines, and staff and students must wear masks and practice social distancing
- Online sessions will be held in the afternoon and evening via Zoom. Students will keep their iPad over the summer
Register Now for Small Group Tutoring
Teachers will lead students in book discussions. After you preview each book club, register for the session that best suits your child and secure the book. If you need assistance securing books, please contact Lisa Stoddard.
- Four sessions will be offered every two weeks from June 21 - August 13
- Book Clubs are being offered to students entering Grades 3-5.
- Book Clubs will Zoom in 45-minute discussion & activity groups.
- Students will keep their iPad over the summer.
Register Now for Online Book Clubs
All students who will enter grades 1-5 will automatically be enrolled in an Asynchronous “Anytime / Anywhere” Summer Learning course. The course will include digital and screen-free activities that review core concepts taught in the previous grade level. Activities are designed to be completed asynchronously with family support.
- Students entering grades 1-3 will work in Seesaw. Preview activities for Rising 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Graders
- Students entering grades 4-5 will work in Schoology. Preview activities for Rising 4th & 5th Graders
- All students will keep their iPad over the summer
