  • West Chester Public Library presents the "2024 Summer Reading Contest". This is open to all ages!! The kickoff begins June 8th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Barclay Park (Corner of Church Street and Marshall Street). Your student can sign up and also enjoy the obstacle course, balloons, face painting, and so much more!!

  • The Chester County Art Association is giving Scholarships for its Arts Summer Camp, which will run from June 17th through August 23rd. The program offers a variety of classes for students ages 5 through 17 years of age.

  • East Goshen Park is inviting all teens to participate in it's annual "Art Walk and Teen Art Competition" on Saturday, September 28th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This years theme will be "Embracing our Difference". All mediums are welcome.

  • The YMWIC (Young Men and Women in Charge) foundation will be running a STEAM and Language Arts Camp (SP)for all upcoming 1st through 8th grade students. The camp will be run 6/17 through 7/25 Mondays through Thursdays at Henderson High School.

  • The Peirce MS Environmental Club is hosting a Yard Sale on Saturday, June 1, from 9am to 12 pm. Rent a table for $10 to sell items or come and shop.

  • West Chester University is running a Summer Basketball Camp for ages 6 through 15 years of age. There are several sessions throughout the summer beginning June 17th. All classes will be held at Hollinger Field House on campus.

  • Big Blue Swim School is recognizing "Swim Safety Month" with an 80% discount on the 1st 4 weekly swim lessons.   This is open to ages 3 months to 12 years. Your child will swim in ultra-clean, 90-degree water with professional swim instructors.

  • I9 Sports is running Summer Sports League for Soccer (ages 3-12), Flag Football (4-14), and T-ball (ages 3-6). Practices will be one day a week with a game following. Your student will learn teamwork and other sportsmanship values. The season begins on 6/22.

  • The American Helicopter Museum is running 4 OUT OF THIS WORLD Summer Programs for students ages 6-12 years. During these week-long adventures, they will explore the outer reaches of space. There will be exciting demonstrations, science shows, and hands-on activities as they explore the final frontier.

  • The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania is now recruiting students from Exton, East Goshen, and Glen Acres elementary schools to join them. Troops will be forming over the Summer. Come and experience all the possibilities that await you this year!!

  • Join DubC NFL Flag Co-Ed Youth Football League  for a fast-paced game in a non-contact environment, where players not only learn the fundamentals and skills of football, but many life skills as well. 3 Divisions: Division 1 - grades K & 1; Division 2 - grades 2 & 3; Division 3 - grades 4, 5 & 6. Spring Season Registration is open until April 6. Register for the Fall Season in June

  • Chester County Night School is running Summer Band Camp for upcoming 5th through 8th grade students with 1 year of band experience the week of 7/15 through 7/19 from 9am to 12pm. Students will participate in group lessons, ensemble playing, and will have opportunities for jazz participation.

  • West Chester WolfPack Rugby Club is running a rugby program from March to May for all 5th through 12th-grade students who are interested in learning about the sport. All games will be on Sundays and there will be 2 practices a week. Come and join the fun.

  • Sunset Valley Farm is proud to be “the Home of Happy Horses,” and we are excited for you to join us at our Fun-Filled Horseback Riding Summer Camp.   • East Goshen Township Parks & Rec is hosting a trip to The Teen Amazing Race in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, July 30th from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, to participate in the Amazing Race until noon, then free to explore our nation's Capitol. Teams will consist of 6-8 high school students, plus 1 adult. Cost is $65 per person.

  • The  West Chester Food Cupboard provides a variety of quality food to support a balanced and healthy diet and recently revised the income guidelines regarding who is eligible for assistance. Eligible families can come once a month and receive about two weeks of groceries free of charge, and stop by the Express Store on Monday and Friday for additional food. The Baptist Church will help if you need transportation.
