West Chester Dance Works is excited to relaunch its original production, Rachel Harris: One Woman Over the Line. This full-length, multi-media dance production shares the story of a runaway slave in Chester County and her search for freedom and dignity. West Chester Dance Works will have two showings of a performance this week at the Uptown Theater in celebration of Black History Month on Friday, Feb 7 @ 7:30pm and Sunday, Feb 9 @ 2:30pm. Malvern Day Camp has a "Day Camp" for students 5 years old and up to attend when schools are closed on 1/20/25 and 2/17/25
There will be special activities: indoor gym, game room, sports, Gage, outdoor play, arts & crafts, and so much more! Lunch and snacks are included!
Science Explorers presents after-school science clubs at the following elementary school locations from 11/7/24 to 5/22/25:
Exton, Fern Hill, Glen Acres, Greystone, Mary C Howse, and Penn Wood.

Exton Little League has opened registration for its Spring Leagues for 2025. Boys and girls ages 4+ are invited to join. They have Baseball, Softball, Tee-ball, and Challenger Leagues.

The East Bradford Township Trail Blazer Run will take place on Thursday, June 5, 2025! There are always volunteer spots we need to fill and of course, we welcome anyone who prefers to participate in any of the events as a runner/walker. WCU Alpha Upsilon Alpha is hosting a Literacy Day on February 15th! Join them for a fun-filled morning with literacy games and activities!
Registration is open for West Chester Lacrosse Association's Spring programs. Take advantage of the early registration discount and register before 2/1/2025.
Registration is now open for the "Girls NFL Flag Football Spring League." The season runs from 3/24 to 5/18. It is open to girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade, and no experience is needed.
The West Chester Public Library is holding CHESS CLUB every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm beginning 9/7 for ages 5-15—no registration required. Have fun learning the game of chess, or getting some serious practice with Coach Chuck Shaw. The library is located at 415 North Church Street, West Chester.
Shoes for the Homeless Volunteer Youth Ambassador Program is open to all students aged 13 to 18. They can earn 24+ community service hours, learn leadership skills, and build their college resume' by helping the homeless in their area.

The West Chester Food Cupboard provides a variety of quality food to support a balanced and healthy diet and recently revised the income guidelines regarding who is eligible for assistance. Eligible families can come once a month and receive about two weeks of groceries free of charge, and stop by the Express Store on Monday and Friday for additional food.
