What do you do with a lamp that does not work, or with a bike when the brakes don't work right, or with a garment that needs mending? Toss it? No way! Bring it to the Repair Café on July 12th, 2025 10am -2pm at Central Presbyterian Church [100 W. Uwchlan Ave. Downingtown, PA 19335] At the Repair Café everything is about making repairs and reducing waste sent to landfills. On event day starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 2:00 PM various volunteer experienced repairers called Repair Coaches will be available to help make all possible repairs free of charge. People visiting the Repair Café will bring their broken but treasured items from home, toasters, lamps, hair dryers, clothes, bikes, toys, ... anything that is broken is welcome. They can more than likely be repaired; the Repair Coaches almost always have the know-how.
