The West Chester Area School District is administering the PSAT test free of charge to all 10th and 11th grade students on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. This new version of the PSAT is not only a practice test for the new SAT I Reasoning Test scheduled to be used in March, but it is also a valuable assessment tool used to monitor the academic progress of students. Results of the PSAT may qualify students for commendation through the National Merit Scholar Program. Taking the PSAT is therefore required of all 10th and 11th graders unless the student has been granted an exemption from assessment testing for religious reasons.
