• Good afternoon EGE

Now that was a long-lasting storm, but fortunately not as bad as predicted!  I hope you had or are having some fun in the snow with your family.  The Browns did a lot of sledding in the sleet which made our sledding track fast.  The girls loved it.

I wanted to say that I am sorry.  I am sorry that we do not have the opportunity to bring back all our Roadrunners.  This has been the hardest thing we have had to do as a school team.  Deciding who comes and who can’t come was not something we wanted to do, but something we had to do since we have the six-foot distance guidelines.  It was so hard meeting with each teacher, looking at all the data and factors and saying who do we pick.  Most times it was so hard that the teachers said you pick and I said no you pick. I felt like I was with my wife discussing our children and you know how hard it is when you have to decide on things that not all your children can have.   It took us an agonizing week to get to our final list and send the email last Friday.  We still have 265 Roadrunners that cannot come back 4 days a week and I am truly sorry we can’t bring them back.  I know my words are probably not good enough, but I do want you to know that we care so much about all our children and we will be overjoyed when they all come walking back into our classrooms.

As of today at 2:00 this is how the rest of the week looks:

    Wednesday(tomorrow) – Cohort A in school

Thursday and Friday Cohort B in school

Week of February 8th is normal with 2 A days, remote Wednesday, 2 B days

Monday, February 15th is a Holiday – NO SCHOOL

    Tuesday 16 & Wednesday 17th – A days

    Thursday 18 & Friday 19 – B days

    Make it a great week!

    Mr. Brown
