Locker Practice
Practice with a combination lock. The combination locks on Stetson's lockers are the same as an ordinary padlock.
Instructions for opening lockers at Stetson:
1. Turn the dial to the right several times to clear the mechanism.
2. Turn the dial to the right and stop at the first number of the combination.
3. Turn the dial to the left, past the first number of the combination, and stop at the second number.
4. Turn the dial to the right and stop at the last number.
5. Pull the latch up to open the lock.

Review organizational skills Contact a friend or neighbor with a middle school child. Ask about their child's transition.
Join the Stetson PTO and attend the meetings to obtain accurate information about what is happening at Stetson.
Review the Stetson Handbook and District Discipline Code Manual with your child, including all rules and guidelines. (You may want to highlight the differences between elementary school and middle school)
