East Ice Hockey Club is now accepting registration for its K-4th GRADE ELEMENTARY TEAM. No experience is necessary. All games and practices take place at ICE LINE on weekends.

West Chester Dance Works presents "THE GRINCH". Join us for the festive dance rendition of Dr. Suess' The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. On Saturday, December 14th, 6:30 pm, at Stetson Middle School.

West Chester Lacrosse Association has now opened registration for "Winter Lacrosse" for students ages 3-6 and grades 1st through 8th. Practices and games are every Sunday beginning 1/5/25.

The YMCA of the Pines is presenting an information night for all students interested in attending "Overnight Camp". Come and tour and explore all the camps have to offer. The event will be held on Sunday, October 20th, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm and is open to all students.

West Goshen Police Department and The Learning Experience of West Chester are hosting their annual "TRUNK OR TREAT" at 910 Old Fern Hill Rd, West Chester, Pa. on October 18th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. All members of the community are invited to come out!! There will be games, music, food trucks, treats, and prizes for the most popular trunks!

The West Chester Public Library is holding CHESS CLUB every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm beginning 9/7 for ages 5-15—no registration required. Have fun learning the game of chess, or getting some serious practice with Coach Chuck Shaw. The library is located at 415 North Church Street, West Chester.

The West Goshen Township Park and Recreation Department would like to invite WCASD Families to attend their FREE FALL MOVIES series at West Goshen Community Park. Movies will run every Saturday at 6 pm from 9/21 through 10/19. All guests are encouraged to bring a dry good item (soap, shampoo, diapers, toilet paper, laundry detergent) for the West Chester Food Cupboard.

West Chester University is running a Summer Basketball Camp for ages 6 through 15 years of age. There are several sessions throughout the summer beginning June 17th. All classes will be held at Hollinger Field House on campus.

Shoes for the Homeless Volunteer Youth Ambassador Program is open to all students aged 13 to 18. They can earn 24+ community service hours, learn leadership skills, and build their college resume' by helping the homeless in their area.

The Girl Scouts of Eastern PA is inviting students at Glen Acres and Exton Elementary to join them at any time. Have fun with friends, make new adventures and make a difference.

The West Chester Food Cupboard provides a variety of quality food to support a balanced and healthy diet and recently revised the income guidelines regarding who is eligible for assistance. Eligible families can come once a month and receive about two weeks of groceries free of charge, and stop by the Express Store on Monday and Friday for additional food. The Baptist Church will help if you need transportation.
