The district contracts with ARAMARK to manage the Food Service Program, which includes breakfast and lunch in all our schools. Although ARAMARK runs the daily operations of the program, the district sets policies and lunch prices. For the 2010-11 school year, lunch prices are $2.00 for elementary school students and $2.25 for secondary school students. The price for breakfast in all of our schools is $1. The district participates in the Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program for students who are economically disadvantaged and meet income guidelines.

The district also participates in the National School Lunch Program in all 16 schools. This program provides state and federal subsidies for breakfasts and lunches served in the schools. In return for this subsidy, the district must serve meals that meet the NSLP nutrition and portion guidelines.
For breakfast, students have a choice of bread or cereal, fruit or fruit juice, and milk. Our lunch menus vary from day to day.
