Henderson Student will be Featured on ‘Nick News’

Bond Collard, a ninth grade student at Henderson High School, will be featured as part of a special on autism on the TV program ‘Nick News’ on the Nickelodeon channel at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 22. The program is being aired in conjunction with the observance of April as Autism Awareness Month.

Bond was one of four students from across the U.S. who were selected to be included on this program. He was filmed both at home and in the cafeteria and a science class at Henderson. The program will focus on his challenges and successes as a person with Aspergers Syndrome, which is a disability on the autism spectrum of disorders.

All members of the district community with access to the Nickelodeon channel are encouraged to tune into this special program.
