Public is Invited
to Meet the Three Candidates for the Position of Assistant
Superintendent for Secondary Education
The West Chester
Area School District is interviewing candidates for the position
of Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education. Both the
Director of High School Education and Director of Middle Level
Education
are
retiring
at the end of the current school year.
Parents and community members are invited
to an interview and reception during which they can meet
each of the candidates on successive evenings. Each of the
three candidates will make a brief presentation outlining
their background, training, and experience. The public will
have an opportunity to ask questions and complete a feedback
form giving the school district interview team your impressions
of the candidate. These meetings with the candidates will
be hosted by WCASD Superintendent Dr. Alan Elko, from 7:00
PM to 8:00 PM each evening in the Spellman Board Room, Paoli
Pike, West Chester, PA. There is no need to pre-register
to attend
any or all of these public sessions. For more information

- 7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 21st, 2008 — Dr.
Marc Bertrando
Currently the Principal at West Chester B. Reed
Henderson High School, West Chester Area School District,
West Chester, PA
- 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 22nd, 2008 — Dr.
Andrei Ghelman
Currently the Principal at Emory Grove Center, Montgomery
County Public Schools, Rockville, Maryland
