These positions include all administrative and certified teaching positions in the West Chester Area School District.
Administrative or Certified Teaching Applicant:
Thank you for your interest in the West Chester Area School District. To be considered for a position in the West Chester Area School District, please submit the following documents as part of your application packet to the address at the bottom of the page. This packet should contain the following:
- Cover Letter & Resume – The letter should reference the open positions(s) which prompted your application.
- Completed PA Standard Teaching Application (available here from the Dept of Education). If your application is already online at www.pareap.net, please send the required information along with an indication that your application can be accessed on PA R.E.A.P. We can then view and print a copy of your application.
- Pennsylvania State Certificate and all Praxis Scores - Packets with everything except PA Certificate may be considered as long as final transcripts and PRAXIS scores are included.
- Unofficial College transcripts (from all colleges attended)
- Two Letters of Recommendations
- Current PPD Test - must have been completed within 12 months of first day of work in the District
- Copies of all current criminal checks requires under the Act 114*, Act 34* & Act 151*. These criminal checks must have been completed within 12 months of first day of work in the District and include the following:
* Please note that these items do not have to be necessarily included in the application packet. The District will not however hire any candidate on a permanent basis until we have received each of these clearances in the Human Resource Office.
