WCASD Curriculum Specialty Areas

	District teachers collaborate on an activity at a workshop on Differentiated Instruction.

The WCASD curriculum incorporates the following content areas kindergarten through twelfth grade:

• Language Arts
• Math
• Science
• Social Studies
• World Language
• Physical Education
• Music
• Art

Also offered at the elementary, middle and high school level are: Health, Family Consumer Science, Computer Literacy, Technical Education and numerous electives.

Each curriculum is based on Pennsylvania, national and/or local standards. Curriculum reviews are scheduled on a five-year rotation basis. All curriculums are evaluated and revised as needed.
