The School District recognizes that students enrolled in our schools have different needs that can sometimes not be entirely met by the standard instructional program. For instance, some students enter kindergarten at developmental levels that require additional support to ensure academic success in the later grades. Other students are natives of foreign countries who have just arrived in the United States without a firm knowledge of the English language. Still other students require some adaptations in their school program because they are exceptionally gifted, or have developmental disabilities.
