for Bus Stop Changes
The Transportation Office
takes the responsibility of transporting our students very
seriously. This year, we
will spend $12.6 million to transport 17,000 children to 160
schools across 750 square miles each school day. In the district,
we follow criteria set by the state School Code (67 PA code
447.1 and 67 PA Code 104.3) in establishing bus stops for our
children. We supplement that with guidelines established by
our school board, taking into account various factors such
as the age of children and those with special needs.
