Strategic
Plan
The West Chester Area School District is mandated
by State Law to write a Strategic Plan every five years.
The current plan, which will guide district operations through
2007-08, was written with extensive community input in the
2001-02 school year and adopted by the School Board in the
spring of 2002.
Since the adoption of the district-wide plan,
the individual schools in the district have written their
own site plans.
The district is also in the final stages of writing a High
School Athletic Strategic Plan.
The district’s Strategic
Plan is reviewed every year to ensure progress in achieving
the Action Steps that are
at the heart of the plan and that outline the tasks and
activities required for its full implementation.
